Fresh Eyes.

There have been times over the last 2 years where I have thought, I wish I had a little more time to do things for myself. Specifically (when I am not in the busy season) to go take photos that are just for me. However, I have recently gained a new perspective. I spend the majority of my time caring for the people in my life who need me the most and this allows me to see the world through their eyes and experience new things everyday that I never would take the time to notice, even if I were given it. With this new outlook I find myself looking for “more time in the day” less often. I am content with the time given, and the way I get to spend it.

One of my goals for this year was to take more personal photos, not on my iPhone. 🙂 Hayden, my son, and I go on nature adventures every week. I let him lead the way… as long as it isn’t into traffic. I love seeing the world through his beautiful fresh eyes. Here are my favorite shots from a few different adventures we have had so far. And one shot of a sweet moment with Dad at home learning numbers.
